And just like that the first Solway Hoedown is over!
It completely sold out & feels like a dream...
even the weather was on our side!!
Thank you to everyone who came, to the bar staff, face painter, to Abi, Marissa, Heidi and Darcy for taking care of the gate, merch and raffle tickets, to Coastal Kippford Caravan Park for sponsoring the green room and giving us a base for the weekend, to Juls and Dan from the Teeroom Bar for trusting me to put this on and making things so easy! And of course there would be no Hoedown without music, and you guys were absolutely fantastic and did so much more than just turn up and play! Dream Team all round.
So cheers to a magical day that will probably start to sink in soon, and to everyone who asked if we will do it again… bring it on and see you next year. The most beautiful part of the world and bringing Scottish and Texan musicians together, what’s not to repeat!
