So after a fun and successful tour with the fabulous Robyn Red (Switzerland LOVED her)  & a huge THANK YOU to everyone who came to a gig (or two!), to the boys Imbi, Domenico and Nino in the band, to Barbara & Marc at Restaurant Felsenberg, Yancey for holding the fort at Bela Loko, Ruedi and the team at Ranch Restaurant, and our fabulous new colaborators with Bea at Maples House Line Dance Club, I'm still pinching myself! 

However we've got lots more music on the horizon so I'll try and stick to the details.....

First up is Emilia Quinn;  a dynamic UK-based musician and singer-songwriter known for her raw, soulful voice and genre-blending sound that fuses Americana, Country, and Blues Rock influences. She'll be touring her new Album High on Life throughout Switzerland and playing in Kandergrund, Baden, Zurich & Bern. In Baden she is playing for us at Bela Loko Café on Wednesday 19th February (Doors 7pm, Music 8pm)  where we will also have professional photographer and would love you to sell the place out and help me make my new website look sensational!

Then just one week later we have the fabulous charistmatic, and VERY Scottish Anton O'Donnell calling in for a Living Room Concert as he travels through Europe. With his smokey tones, guitar and harmonica, not to mention his stories, Anton is going to bring the random and extremely talented musical factor to Kornstrasse 11 on Wednesday 26th February. Doors 19:00, Music 19:30 :-)

Knopf präsentiert seine neue EP Fireplace Tapes  im Bela Loko am Mittwoch 12. März. Tickets jetzt auf Eventfrog erhältlich. 

And in March, just before I go to Texas (yes, Texas baby!) we have Knopf, a very cool and seasoned Swiss Musician (with perhaps the best beard in the business!) coming to share his songs and stories at Bela Loko on Wednesday March 12th. Knopf also hosts his own Songwriters Lounge radio show on Drift FM  for anyone who'd like to find new music and the stories behind the songs. 

And, finally... advanced warning of Jake O'Neill touring Switzerland 1st -4th  April (keep an eye on the agenda), that tickets are on sale now for the Kandertal festival in August, and I'll leave you with the knowledge that I'll be on TV tomorrow, in conjuction with Wir Leben Musik, and I haven't seen it yet, but I'll be brave and share it with you! (Thanks to Peter Schmid of Alpenland Events for that opportunity and I look forward to working with them on future collaborations :-)

Und, es tut mir leid, dass ich diesmal kein deutsch geschrieben habe Ich habe wirklich schlimme Rückenschmerzen gehabt, und die Anstrengung war einfach ein bisschen zu viel, hier zu sitzen! Allerdings hat Marissa mir gesagt, dass sie sich langweilt, vielleicht hätte ich sie bitten sollen, es noch einmal zu machen!
