Turning Up the Volume: New Season, New Shows, Same She Interacts Spirit

AUTUMN NEWSLETTER

Welcome to the new Nesletter format! But just before I begin.....

First and foremost, thanks to everyone who came to our Rockabilly summer party with our awesome Errendingen trio The Creepers. That turned out to be something of an event, with the constabulary telling us it was too loud in the garden at 8pm, but the musicians rose to the occasion without batting an eyelid, the guests came along for the ride, and all of a sudden we had an absolute blast back in the house where it all started! Then, Anton O’Donnell came back to the fold, this time accompanied by fabulous harmonies from Reggie Merz, and Switzerland got a wee taste of Scottish Alt-Country, and some amusing anecdotes along the way 😊

And now, Autumn is kicking in, and what better way to make the most of the longer evenings, than with a little live music and Rock and Roll baby! We have, on October the 19^th, all the way from Boston USA a former pro-baseball player and Indie-Rock musician Joey Wit coming to Switzerland and doing 7 nights in a row with She Interacts all over the country.

Joey, despite having family and football leanings firmly in Liverpool, has been heavily influenced by the Manchester music scene, and the sound and feel of his music reflects that- in fact he reminds me of being a teenager back in the Britpop 90's! Of the shows in Baden/ Wettingen he will be doing one stripped-back acoustic jam at She Interacts HQ Wettingen on Sunday 19^th October at 5pm, and two full-on party shows at Coco Baden on Thursday 23^rd, and Skitzpub Baden on Friday 24^th. I can’t wait to welcome Joey on Sunday 19^th and hope to see many of you at Kornstrasse 11 for that. Any teenage guitar players would also be up for this in my opinion! Joey's original songs transmit fresh raw energy, and a lot of this comes from his connection with his guitars. Please use the RSVP link or send me a WhatsApp message in good time to buy enough refreshments. 

Then moving into November, and we have a return to some Texan Country Music with Aaron Copeland (Tour dates 16^th- 22^nd November). Again, we have a mix of acoustic and full band shows, but this time with a twist. On Sunday 16^th November 14:30-17:00, we have something very special indeed, and marks the return of our collaboration with the Wetzel Family and Goldwand Vinyard. This is what chilly Sunday afternoons were made for: 3 Musicians, one concert, delectable wine and plenty of snacks, in the warm and dry of the beautiful wine shop crypt! 

She Interacts and Family Wetzel will be hosting Mikol Frachay (Italy), Savannah Gardner (UK/USA) and Aaron Copeland (USA) for “Let’s get a Round In” where they will take a turn each to sing their songs and tell the stories behind them (with translation into German), for an intimate and interactive family-friendly show. We will also be taking requests, so if you have a country song, and even a dedication that you would especially like to hear, please send it in.
